Ariana Grande Drops Details About New Music

Ariana Grande reveals new song title and album cover

New Song and Album Details

Ariana Grande has just shared two major details about her upcoming music. After announcing that her new song will be released on Friday, January 12, she confirmed that the lead single will not have the same title as her upcoming seventh album. Additionally, she revealed that the photo she used to announce the song will serve as one of the album covers.

On her Instagram Story, Grande wrote, 'p.s. i couldn't wait any longer to tell you that although this is not the album title, it is indeed the album cover (well…….one of them!).' Fans had speculated that the blurry image of the left side of her face and red lips was the album cover, and Grande's confirmation validated their assumptions.

Teasing the Comeback

Grande has been teasing her musical comeback on social media for weeks. She has been sharing photos and muted clips of her time in the studio working on the new project. Last week, she even wore a custom 'Yes, And?' sweatshirt in public, leading fans to wonder if it was the title of a new song or album.

This album rollout comes after Grande took a break from music and focused on her R.E.M. Beauty business and her role in the upcoming live-action adaptations of the Broadway musical Wicked. In the past three years, she has only made guest appearances on other artists' songs and released a 10th-anniversary edition of her debut album, Yours Truly.

Reflections on Time Away

A few days before the new year, Grande reflected on her time away from music in 2023. On her Instagram Story, she wrote, 'I've never felt more at the mercy of and in acceptance of what life was screaming to teach me. I have never felt more pride or joy or love while simultaneously feeling so deeply misunderstood by people who don't know me, who piece whispers together and make what they want out of me and their assumptions of my life.'

With her new music on the horizon, Grande is ready to make her return to the spotlight and continue captivating audiences with her talent and artistry.
